العين السخنة
هي منتجع سياحي واستثماري وصناعي علي ساحل خليج السويس في البحر الأحمر وتتبع محافظة السويس في مصر، وتبعد 55 كيلومترا عن مدينة السويس وهي من أقرب منتجعات البحر الأحمر إلي القاهرة.
سميت بالعين السخنة لكثرةالعيون الكبريتية الساخنة بها والتي تستخدم للاستشفاء. وبها شواطئ غير صخرية ذات رمال بيضاء، كما أنها تعتبر مصيفا طوال أشهر السنة صيفا وشتاء، ويوجد بها عدة مناطق وقري سياحية تحوي فنادق وشاليهات ويعد فندق العين السخنة الذي أنشئ في أوائل الستينيات أقدمها علي الإطلاق .، وقربها من القاهرة - حيث تبعد عنها بمسافة حوالى 140 كيلومترا تقريبا - جعلها مصيفا مفضلا للمصريين خصوصا لرحلة اليوم الواحد، وإن كانت نسبة السياح الأجانب بها هي الغالبة، ويتم بمنطقة العين السخنة إنشاء عدة مشاريع سياحية لجذب الأعداد المتزايدة من السياح المصريين والأجانب.
عثر البعثة الفرنسية للآثار بالعين السخنة في 8 فبراير 2006 م. علي كنز أثري يرجع لفترة الدولتين الحديثة والوسطي في مصر يرجع عمره لأكثر من أربعة آلاف عام خلت وذلك بمنطقة جبل الجلالة كما اكتشفت بعثة ألمانية مشابهة تمثالا ضخما للملك أمنحتب الثالث..
عقد بها في 29 نوفمبر 2007 م. مؤتمر حول مصر والتغيرات المناخية، نظمه مركز حابي للحقوق البيئية.
Ain Sukhna

Found the French mission to the effects of Ain Sukhna in the February 8, 2006 AD. Ali archaeological treasure dating to the period of the two modern middle age is due in Egypt for more than four thousand years ago and that in Jebel Majesty the German mission also discovered a similar huge statue of King Amenhotep III ..
